How it works

How the agent checks account risk.

The agent shows which of your accounts are at risk, what changed overnight, and the one thing to do on each.

  1. 01

    The morning check starts.

Trig checks every account you own each working morning for risk signals, and notes what changed since the last check.

  2. 02

    Agent gathers data & evidence.

Weekly active users and seats, support tickets, the last email, call, or meeting, health history, and renewal and notice dates.

  3. 03

    Agent builds the risk check.

Ranks accounts at risk by value at stake, how serious the signal is, and how near renewal is, and suggests one next step each.

  4. 04

    You review and decide.

Choose which accounts to act on today, and decide the next step on each.

Configuration

How this agent manages account risk each morning.

The data and records the agent needs access to in order to deliver the work, and where you want it delivered.

How this agent manages account risk each morning.

  • What it reads

The CRM accounts with their owner, value, and renewal and notice dates, and weekly usage for each account. Support tickets, email and call history, health scores, and job-change records from a people-data tool add context where available.

  • Where the work lands

Full risk check on Trig, with the evidence for each account, delivered as a direct message in your internal chat, such as Slack, to the customer success manager each working morning.

  • Your decisions

Your team decides which accounts to act on and what to do. Trig suggests one next step for each flagged account and changes no CRM field or health score. Agents access only records you allow and carry out only actions you approve.

Output

What the agent hands your team.

Every account you own checked each morning, with what changed first and one next step per flagged account, ready to read in under three minutes.

  1. 1Changes. What’s new since the last check, with its source.
  2. 2Every flag. Each account at risk, with its evidence and one next step.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What is a daily account risk agent?

It is a Trig agent set up to show which of your accounts are at risk and why. In this configuration, the agent checks every account you own each working morning and lists the ones at risk now. The agent shows what changed since the last check, gives the evidence for each account at risk, and suggests one next step for each.

Which customer churn risk signals does Trig check?

Agents can be configured to check each account against a set of risk signals, any one of which is enough. In this template, they include weekly active users more than 20% below the account’s usual level, a red health score with renewal inside 120 days, a Severity 1 ticket open more than five days, cancel or churn language in a ticket, email, or call, a sponsor or champion who left, and no reply, meeting, or call for more than 21 days. Your team’s own rules can replace them.

What does the daily account risk check include?

In this template, the agent is configured to deliver a one-page risk check each morning for the accounts that meet your targeting conditions. It opens with the accounts flagged, their contract value, and the nearest renewal among them. Then it lists what changed since the last check, and each account at risk with its evidence, renewal date, and one next step, ordered by value at stake, how serious the signal is, and how near renewal is. Accounts that improved get one line each.

Will the agent contact the customer or change their health score?

No. Trig never contacts customers directly without express approval, which is controlled at the code level. In this template, the agent reads your records and changes no CRM field or health score. The risk check goes only to the customer success manager, and your team decides which accounts to act on.

What does the agent need access to?

The CRM accounts with their owner, contract value, and renewal and notice dates, and weekly usage for each account. Support tickets, customer emails and calls, health scores, invoices, and job-change records from a people-data tool add useful additional context where available. In Trig, you choose which connected sources agents can read, and you approve whether each assignment may send messages or update records before it runs.

Can we change how the template works?

Yes. A template sets up the assignment: what to produce, which accounts it covers, when it runs, and which tools it can use. You review the plan before it runs, and you can edit its instructions, accounts, recipients, or timing at any time, or pause it.

How long does it take to set up this template?

A few clicks. Once the tools it reads from are connected to Trig, you can set up this template almost instantly, review its plan, and the agent starts work on your accounts each morning.
