Frequently asked questions.
What is an account CRM cleanup agent?
It is a Trig agent set up to keep your account records accurate. In this configuration, the agent checks the CRM fields on each account you own every Friday afternoon, with a daily check for customer calls not yet logged. The agent compares the CRM with signed contracts and calls, pre-fills each fix with its evidence, and writes only the fixes you approve.
How does Trig find stale or incorrect customer account records?
Agents can be configured to check each account against rules your team sets. In this template, a fix is raised when the CRM and the signed contract disagree on value, renewal date, notice date, or term. Fixes are also raised for a forecast category unchanged for over 7 days when renewal is within 90 days, a late or blank next step, no logged activity in over 21 days, a customer call with nothing logged, or a contact role that the records contradict, such as a champion who has left.
What does the account CRM cleanup list include?
In this template, the agent is configured to deliver a fix list for the accounts that meet your targeting conditions. It opens with the fixes found, the conflicts with contracts, and the calls not yet logged. Then it lists each fix with the account, the field, its current value, and a proposed value with its evidence, conflicts first and the nearest renewals next. Where the records hold no evidence, it asks you the one question that would settle it.
Will the agent contact customers or change the CRM on its own?
No. Trig never contacts customers directly without express approval, which is controlled at the code level. In this template, each fix waits for you to approve, edit, or skip it before Trig writes it to the CRM. Where the CRM and the contract disagree, both values are shown, and the CRM keeps its value until you decide.
What does the agent need access to?
Your accounts and contacts in the CRM with each field’s change history, your signed contracts or billing records, and your calendar and recorded calls. Product usage and job-change records from a people-data tool add useful additional context where available. In Trig, you choose which connected sources agents can read, and you approve whether each assignment may send messages or update records before it runs.
Can we change how the template works?
Yes. A template sets up the assignment: what to produce, which accounts it covers, when it runs, and which tools it can use. You review the plan before it runs, and you can edit its instructions, accounts, recipients, or timing at any time, or pause it.
How long does it take to set up this template?
A few clicks. Once the tools it reads from are connected to Trig, you can set up this template almost instantly, review its plan, and the agent starts work on your account records.
