How it works

How the agent checks your deal records.

The agent finds stale, blank, or contradicted fields on your open deals, pre-fills each fix, and writes only those you approve.

  1. 01

    The record check begins.

Trig checks your open deals every Thursday afternoon before the forecast call, and looks each day for calls not yet in the CRM.

  2. 02

    Agent gathers data & evidence.

Deal fields and their history, logged activity, your calendar and recorded calls, customer emails, and your team’s stage definitions.

  3. 03

Agent builds the CRM fix list.

Pre-fills each fix with its evidence, asks you to supply missing information when the records provide no evidence, and drafts an activity for each unlogged call.

  4. 04

    You review, edit, and approve.

Approve, edit, or skip each fix, answer what the records lack, and Trig writes only the fixes you approve.

Configuration

How this agent manages your deal records.

The data and records the agent needs access to in order to deliver the work, and where you want it delivered.

How this agent manages your deal records.

  • What it reads

Your open deals and contacts in the CRM, your calendar and recorded calls, and your team’s stage definitions. Call transcripts and customer emails add context where available.

  • Where the work lands

Full fix list on Trig, delivered as a direct message in your internal chat, such as Slack, with each fix written to your CRM once you approve it.

  • Your decisions

Your team approves, edits, or skips each fix, and answers where the records hold no evidence. Trig pre-fills only what the records show and changes nothing until you approve. Agents access only records you allow and carry out only actions you approve.

Output

What the agent hands your team.

Every stale, blank, or contradicted field on your open deals, with the evidence for each fix, ready to approve in just a few clicks.

  1. 1Every fix. Each fix on your open deals, with what it needs from you.
  2. 2Priorities. What to look at first, with its source.
  3. 3Fixes. Each fix waits for you to edit and approve before Trig writes it.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What is a CRM cleanup agent?

It is a Trig agent set up to keep your deal records accurate. Agents can be fully customized to work based on your own unique pipeline signals, conditions, and situations. In this configuration, the agent checks the open deals you own every Thursday afternoon before your forecast call, with a daily check for calls not yet in the CRM. The agent finds stale, blank, or contradicted fields, pre-fills each fix with its evidence, and writes only the fixes you approve.

How does Trig know a field needs fixing?

Agents can be configured to check each deal against rules your team sets. In this template, a fix is raised for no logged activity in 14 days, or in 7 days on a Commit or Best Case deal; a next step that is blank or late; a close date in the past, or moved twice or more with no note; a deal in its stage for more than twice the usual time; and a required field left blank. A call still not logged 24 hours later is listed too.

What does the agent prepare for my team?

In this template, the agent is configured to deliver a fix list for the open deals that meet your targeting conditions. It opens with the fixes found and the calls not yet logged, then lists each fix with the deal, the field, its current value, and a proposed value with its evidence, Commit and Best Case deals first. Where the records hold no evidence, it asks you the one question that would settle it. Each unlogged call comes with a drafted activity and summary.

Will the agent change my CRM without my approval?

No. Trig never contacts customers directly without express approval, which is controlled at the code level. In this template, each fix waits for you to approve, edit, or skip it before Trig writes it to the CRM. Where the evidence disagrees with the CRM, both values are shown and the CRM keeps its value until you decide. The agent gives no win probability and leaves the forecast to your team.

What does the agent need access to?

Your open deals and contacts in the CRM, your calendar and recorded calls, and your team’s stage definitions and required fields. Call transcripts and customer emails add useful additional context where available. In Trig, you choose which connected sources agents can read, and you approve whether each assignment may send messages or update records before it runs.

Can we change how the template works?

Yes. A template sets up the assignment: what to produce, which accounts it covers, when it runs, and which tools it can use. You review the plan before it runs, and you can edit its instructions, accounts, recipients, or timing at any time, or pause it.

How long does it take to set up this template?

A few clicks. Once the tools it reads from are connected to Trig, you can set up this template almost instantly, review its plan, and the agent starts work on your deal records.
