Frequently asked questions.
How can I find out when a customer champion leaves?
This Trig agent tells you when a customer champion leaves or changes jobs. In this configuration, the agent checks the champion on each account you own every morning and alerts you the first time a departure or new role shows in the records. The agent shows the evidence, what the change puts at stake, and who else you know at the account.
How does Trig know a champion has left?
Agents can be configured to read job-change records from a people-data tool, contact status in the CRM, email bounces and auto-replies, and what the customer says. In this template, the champion is the contact your CRM marks with the champion role. A bounced email counts only once a second source confirms it. A new title at the same company is reported as a new role at the same company.
What does a customer champion change alert include?
In this template, the agent is configured to alert you the morning a champion change first shows in the records, for the accounts that meet your targeting conditions. In a morning with no new change, it sends nothing and records that the check ran. Each alert gives the champion’s old title, what changed, the evidence with its source and date, the account’s renewal date and value, and who else there has been engaged with your team in the last 90 days.
Will the agent contact anyone at the account?
No. Trig never contacts customers directly without express approval, which is controlled at the code level. In this template, the agent reads your records, drafts no outreach, and changes no CRM field. The alert goes only to the customer success manager who owns the account, and your team decides how to rebuild the relationship.
What does the agent need access to?
The CRM accounts you own, with their contacts, the champion on each, the renewal date, and value. Job-change records from a people-data tool, email bounces and auto-replies, and meetings and calls add useful additional context where available. In Trig, you choose which connected sources agents can read, and you approve whether each assignment may send messages or update records before it runs.
Can we change how the template works?
Yes. A template sets up the assignment: what to produce, which accounts it covers, when it runs, and which tools it can use. You review the plan before it runs, and you can edit its instructions, accounts, recipients, or timing at any time, or pause it.
How long does it take to set up this template?
A few clicks. Once the tools it reads from are connected to Trig, you can set up this template almost instantly, review its plan, and the agent starts work on your accounts’ champions.
