Frequently asked questions.
What is a stakeholder map agent?
It is a Trig agent set up to map who you know at each account. Agents can be fully customized to work based on your own unique relationship signals, conditions, and situations. In this configuration, the agent maps each account you own once a month, and again 14 days before each business review. The agent shows who is engaged with your team, which key people have left, joined, or gone quiet, and the relationship to build next.
How does Trig know who is engaged?
Agents can be configured to read meetings and who attended, emails with each contact, and product logins by person. In this template, a contact is engaged when they attended a meeting, exchanged an email, or logged in during the last 90 days. An account is covered when at least four contacts are engaged and, with renewal inside 180 days, the sponsor, budget owner, and champion each have an engaged contact. Your team’s own rules can replace these.
What does the agent prepare for my team?
In this template, the agent is configured to deliver a one-page map for each account that meets your targeting conditions. It opens with the contacts engaged, the key roles covered, days to renewal, and whether the account is covered, thin, or single-threaded (only one engaged contact). Then it lists changes to key people, each contact with their last engagement and its source, and each gap with who to ask for an introduction and why.
Will the agent contact anyone without my approval?
No. Trig never contacts customers directly without express approval, which is controlled at the code level. In this template, the map stays inside your team, and the agent changes no CRM field. If you ask Trig for an introduction request, Trig drafts it for you to edit and approve before Trig sends it.
What does the agent need access to?
The CRM contacts at each account with their titles and roles, renewal and notice dates, meetings and who attended, emails with each contact, and product logins by person. Call transcripts and job-change records from a people-data tool add useful additional context where available. In Trig, you choose which connected sources agents can read, and you approve whether each assignment may send messages or update records before it runs.
Can we change how the template works?
Yes. A template sets up the assignment: what to produce, which accounts it covers, when it runs, and which tools it can use. You review the plan before it runs, and you can edit its instructions, accounts, recipients, or timing at any time, or pause it.
How long does it take to set up this template?
A few clicks. Once the tools it reads from are connected to Trig, you can set up this template almost instantly, review its plan, and the agent starts work on your customer stakeholder maps.
