How it works

How the agent prioritizes your territory.

The agent helps you choose where to focus your prospecting, using recent account signals and the contacts you already know.

  1. 01

    The morning ranking begins.

Each working morning, Trig reads the accounts in your territory and finds signals from the last seven days.

  2. 02

    Agent gathers data & evidence.

Your accounts and contacts, activity, open and lost deals with re-engage dates, your ideal customer profile, signals, and account briefs.

  3. 03

    Agent builds the territory list.

Ranks up to four accounts to work today, with the signal, who to reach, and why now, and lists warm and research accounts.

  4. 04

    You review and decide.

Choose who to contact today and what to say, and confirm any account whose fit is unclear.

Configuration

How this agent manages your territory.

The data and records the agent needs access to in order to deliver the work, and where you want it delivered.

How this agent manages your territory.

  • What it reads

The accounts assigned to you in the CRM, with contacts, activity, and open and lost deals, and your team’s ideal customer profile. Signals such as job changes and form fills, and account briefs, add context where available.

  • Where the work lands

Full territory list on Trig, with today’s accounts first, delivered as a direct message in your internal chat, such as Slack, every working morning.

  • Your decisions

Your team decides who to contact and what to say. Trig scores fit only against your ideal customer profile and ranks only on dated signals. Agents access only records you allow and carry out only actions you approve.

Output

What the agent hands your team.

Your territory ranked for today, with a dated reason and a person to reach for each account, ready to read in under three minutes.

  1. 1Why now. The reason to work each account today, with its source and date.
  2. 2Every account. Each account placed in one group, so nobody works it twice.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What is a territory priority agent?

It is a Trig agent set up to pick the accounts in your territory to work each day. Agents can be fully customized to work based on your own unique territory signals, conditions, and situations. In this configuration, the agent runs every working morning, before you start your outreach. The agent checks each account against your ideal customer profile, finds signals from the last seven days, and ranks up to four accounts to work today, with who to reach and why now.

How does Trig decide which accounts to work today?

Agents can be configured to rank accounts by fit and dated signals. In this template, an account is worked today only when it matches your ideal customer profile, has a signal from the last seven days, isn’t with a sales development rep, and isn’t already an open deal. A lost deal whose re-engage date has passed counts as a signal and comes back with its loss reason. On a quiet day, today’s group can be empty.

What does the agent prepare for my team?

In this template, the agent is configured to deliver a ranked list of the accounts in your territory that meet your targeting conditions. It opens with accounts in the territory, accounts with a recent signal, accounts to work today, and accounts with a sales development rep. Then it ranks up to four accounts to work today, each with its signal, the person to reach, and why now, followed by warm accounts, research accounts, and accounts your profile rules out.

Will the agent contact prospects or change my CRM?

No. Trig never contacts customers directly without express approval, which is controlled at the code level. In this template, the agent drafts no message to a prospect and changes no CRM record or outreach sequence. It never estimates how likely an account is to buy. The list goes only to you, and your team decides who to contact and what to say.

What does the agent need access to?

The accounts assigned to you in the CRM, with contacts, activity, and open and lost deals, and your team’s ideal customer profile. Signals such as job changes and form fills, outreach sequences, and account briefs add useful additional context where available. In Trig, you choose which connected sources agents can read, and you approve whether each assignment may send messages or update records before it runs.

Can we change how the template works?

Yes. A template sets up the assignment: what to produce, which accounts it covers, when it runs, and which tools it can use. You review the plan before it runs, and you can edit its instructions, accounts, recipients, or timing at any time, or pause it.

How long does it take to set up this template?

A few clicks. Once the tools it reads from are connected to Trig, you can set up this template almost instantly, review its plan, and the agent starts work on your territory.
