Frequently asked questions.
What is a success plan agent?
It is a Trig agent set up to draft each new customer’s success plan. Agents can be fully customized to work based on your own unique onboarding signals, conditions, and situations. In this configuration, the agent drafts the plan once, after the transcript of a new customer’s kickoff call is ready. The agent quotes the customer’s objectives, sets a measure for each, and lays out milestones with owners on both sides.
How does Trig know what the customer wants?
Agents can be configured to read the kickoff call transcript, the sales handoff, and emails with the customer. In this template, each objective is quoted in the customer’s own words, with who said it and when, sponsor first. The handoff holds the seller’s notes, so a goal found only there is labeled a proposal to confirm. A wish with no measure stays in the customer’s words and becomes a question for you.
What does the agent prepare for my team?
In this template, the agent is configured to deliver a draft success plan for each new customer that meets your targeting conditions. It gives up to five objectives, each with a measure, its starting figure, and a target and date where the customer gave them. Then it lays out milestones with owners on both sides, marks which were agreed and which are proposals, and lists risks and the questions to ask next.
Will the agent share the plan without my approval?
No. Trig never contacts customers directly without express approval, which is controlled at the code level. The plan is left as a draft for you to edit, agree with the customer, and approve before Trig sends it. The agent invents no figure, quote, or completed milestone, and names an owner only where that person took the task on.
What does the agent need access to?
The kickoff call transcript and the CRM account with its contract start, renewal date, seats, and contacts. The sales handoff, emails, product usage, figures the customer shared, your success plan template, and support tickets add useful additional context where available. In Trig, you choose which connected sources agents can read, and you approve whether each assignment may send messages or update records before it runs.
Can we change how the template works?
Yes. A template sets up the assignment: what to produce, which accounts it covers, when it runs, and which tools it can use. You review the plan before it runs, and you can edit its instructions, accounts, recipients, or timing at any time, or pause it.
How long does it take to set up this template?
A few clicks. Once the tools it reads from are connected to Trig, you can set up this template almost instantly, review its plan, and the agent starts work on your new customers’ success plans.
