How it works

How the agent prepares customer training.

The agent builds the session around one adoption gap, with exercises on the customer’s own work and a pre-work page.

  1. 01

    Trig finds the booking.

Trig picks up each training session with one of your accounts as soon as it is booked on your calendar.

  2. 02

    Agent gathers data & evidence.

The booking and invitees, what the account owns, usage for the team, the success plan, calls, tickets, past sessions, and your product docs.

  3. 03

    Agent builds the session plan.

Frames one gap and the outcome, plans the agenda to the booked time, writes hands-on exercises, and drafts the pre-work page.

  4. 04

    You review, edit, and approve.

Confirm the gap and who attends, then edit and approve the pre-work page for Trig to send to the invitees.

Configuration

How this agent manages customer training sessions.

The data and records the agent needs access to in order to deliver the work, and where you want it delivered.

How this agent manages customer training sessions.

  • What it reads

The calendar booking with its invitees, the CRM account and what it owns, and your product docs. Usage for the team, the success plan, calls, tickets, and past sessions add context where available.

  • Where the work lands

Full session plan on Trig, delivered as a direct message in your internal chat, such as Slack, with the pre-work page ready to send to invitees once approved.

  • Your decisions

Your team confirms the gap, chooses who attends, and runs the session. Trig takes every product step from a named page in your docs. Agents access only records you allow and carry out only actions you approve.

Output

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What is a customer training agent?

It is a Trig agent set up to plan each customer training session. Agents can be fully customized to work based on your own unique training signals, conditions, and situations. In this configuration, the agent starts when a training session with one of your accounts is booked on your calendar. The agent frames one gap and the outcome, plans the agenda to the booked time, writes hands-on exercises, and drafts a pre-work page for the invitees.

How does Trig know what the session should cover?

Agents can be configured to read the booking, the customer’s requests, and usage for the people invited. In this template, the topic comes from the booking and what the customer asked for. If the booking names no topic, the agent proposes the biggest gap the usage shows for that team, labeled as a proposal to confirm. Every product step comes from a named page in your product docs.

What does the agent prepare for my team?

In this template, the agent is configured to deliver a session plan for each booking that meets your targeting conditions. It gives the target team, the gap, the outcome, and the usage figure that will show it worked. Then it sets out an agenda that fits the booked time, hands-on exercises on the customer’s own work, a one-page pre-work draft, and who should attend, with a limit of 12 for hands-on sessions.

Will the agent send anything to the customer without my approval?

No. Trig never contacts customers directly without express approval, which is controlled at the code level. In this template, the pre-work page is left as a draft for you to edit and approve before Trig sends it to the invitees. The agent flags any feature the customer hasn’t bought and builds no part of the session around it unless you confirm.

What does the agent need access to?

The calendar booking with its invitees, the CRM account and what it owns, and your product docs. Usage for the team being trained, the success plan, calls and tickets with that team, and past sessions add useful additional context where available. In Trig, you choose which connected sources agents can read, and you approve whether each assignment may send messages or update records before it runs.

Can we change how the template works?

Yes. A template sets up the assignment: what to produce, which accounts it covers, when it runs, and which tools it can use. You review the plan before it runs, and you can edit its instructions, accounts, recipients, or timing at any time, or pause it.

How long does it take to set up this template?

A few clicks. Once the tools it reads from are connected to Trig, you can set up this template almost instantly, review its plan, and the agent starts work on your customer training sessions.
